duplicating a ring that I was wearing made the new ring have (worn) in the name, so when I put it on it said (worn) (worn).

while inverted, I put on an amulet of inversion and expected it to un-invert me, but that's not how it works. I was un-inverted after _removing_ the amulet, however.

dropping a fake token in an inversion fountain gave me a real token (of opposite alignment). It wasn't clear if that was intentional or not.

Is there a way to show the time? When I was told something would last for 400 turns, I didn't have any idea how long that was.

Cute. Will fix.

Interesting. Yeah, one would expect the amulet to reverse it. I'll look into this.

Heh...thoroughly NOT intentional. Smile Will fix.

Hmm...are you saying, like a turn-counter, so that you can note what turn you're on when the 400 turns thing is announced, and then know it'll expire when the counter hits x + 400?

Good catches. Thanks!

PostSubject: Potion of Shallow Copy?   Tue Dec 09, 2008 12:10 am

okay, this one is pretty weird, so I could be wrong about what just happened, but I think it was

step 1: PoDuplication + AoUndeadification -> AoUndeadification + AoUndeadification
step 2: PoDissolution + AoUndeadification -> Amulet + PoAbsorbedUndeadification
step 3: PoAbsorbedUndeadification + Lump of Mud -> PoAbsorbedLifeIncrease

which all makes sense, but then I checked my inventory, and the original AoUndeadification that I duped and dissolved the copy of is now an AoLifeIncrease. Wacky.

Shocked

I'm still not sure how that's possible, but I'll play around with those steps. If you've got steps to finally replicate that bug, I'll be a very happy camper. Unreplicable, thoroughly weird bugs are always fun to squash. Smile
