I just thought this would be interesting for Nahjor:

Quote from the first issue:

Quote:Most of today’s gamers, when presented with the ASCII-interface of a typical roguelike, immediately dismiss it as old, graphically unappealing, and boring. These sceptics refuse to have a deeper look into the game’s mechanics and its »inner values« and it takes time and effort to convince them to just try to discover the fun roguelikes have to offer.
Non-game topic: Nuclear power

So I thought this might be a fun topic to talk about. The issue of nuclear power.

What do you think of nuclear power in general? Do you think it has potential? Do you think that it has a future? Do you think they have a better alternative?

Are you worried about nuclear power plants now? Would you live near one? What about nuclear cemeteries?

And so on.

I myself have a bit of an axe to grind regarding this topic, but I'd like to hear what others have to think.

How long have you been associating yourself with roguelikes?

Hmmm, for me it's been a couple years since I started downloading and playing roguelikes. One of my favorites, besides MageGuild , has to be ADOM. Thanks to that game, I got into all sorts of roguelikes.

I am as skilled as a six year old in computer programming, but I know roguelikes must be tough to create. That's why my job is to play the roguelikes!

How about everyone else?
