			<description>It sucks not being able to know whether a remembered fountain is yellow or red, or knowing just what kind of potion you didn't pick up the first time you saw, and it's a minor irritant about the same for , features, and just what flavor of i your mage saw. 



Potion colors have barely any logic to them, and since there's no way to customize them, I'm getting quite miffed at being unable to remember the inversions by heart still. I'm going to pull my hair out if I try to duplicate dissolutions  ...</description>

You quaff the Potion of life.

You feel as though you're burning up from the inside out! (speaking of which, you need to make that &quot;burning up from the inside&quot; or &quot;burning from the inside out&quot;. I prefer the former.)

You feel yourself brought back from death's door.

Now at 1 Hp, and undead.

This just asks the question, where exactly is death's door? Wouldn't being brought back  ...</description>

For example, using XML sheets as Monster definitions would allow players to customize the monsters, and XML files for custom intro/script, allowing for mods potentially. Possibly it could be coded that it recognizes a compressed-together Tileset and Monster Definitions file as a Mod file and uses them together accordingly?

The only bugs I found was:



- Immaculate Visage seems to cancel out other permanent resistances. I once took this perk and used it, taking off my Red Dragon Scale Robe, only for such a dragon to roast me alive.



However, I hit rather hard against some balance issues:



- Invisibility, after trying to use it allot, is rather useless in my experiences. It never lasted long enough to run away, it doesn't  ...</description>

			<description><![CDATA[I have here Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) with its version of mono 1.9.1, and MageGuild 1.1.1.  After installing libmono-winforms-2.0, I'm able to start MageGuild and I see the menu screen with animated flames behind it, but I can't find any inputs that have any effect.  Mouse clicks, arrow keys, letters, nothing moves the menu selector or starts a game.  Any ideas?

while inverted, I put on an amulet of inversion and expected it to un-invert me, but that's not how it works.  I was un-inverted after _removing_ the amulet, however.



dropping a fake token in an inversion fountain gave me a real token (of opposite alignment).  It wasn't clear if that was intentional or not.

Have your charge level effect every spell you cast. Have it as a special edge if it may ruin experience or something (perhaps as the end of the &quot;held charge&quot; you can add to &quot;quick charge&quot; etc).



I was very disappointed when I found out that my lighting bolt does roughly about as much damage as my +1 bolt.



So, in order to have power at the right price, why not have charge  ...</description>

I would pay 3 solid character points and way more mana (probably as much as eight) to gain this status effect.



It is certainly a lot more powerful and useful then gravity / flight and certainly deserves to be swapped with them.



I don't know if you have coded this to set the MP cost for each inverse spell seperately but you should certainly consider really REALLY jacking it up if you can.

			<description>This may be intentional, but any attempts to set the font, from the options window, to regular (i.e. not bold etc) sets it to bold instead. You CAN, however, set it to regular from the xml file, so I'm assuming it is a bug of some kind.



Also, as far as I can tell, blinkbats' dissappearing can cause the game to crash, as well.



By the way, great roguelike  much easier to get into than NetHack and those. </description>

I played 1.0 allot and had no problems with it except if I tried to use &quot;Primal Chaos&quot; twice on the same area (I guess that a Primal Chaos cloud effecting another Primal Chaos cloud caused the game to bug out).



However, ever since I play 1.1, the game keeps crashing.



Here is the error log (I once used ctrl-alt-del to close Mageguild so my character's wouldn't be saved, stupid vanity, yes I know).

Having three, I decided that I could fool around with the third one since I had some Potions of Dissolution on hand. I dunked it into a potion of death, returned to my inventory and saw that I had

At first I thought that it'd be a +10 max HP amulet or something. Not so! It creates a 'increase life' effect every 20 turns  ...</description>

			<description>Both the Summon spell and it's reverse spell Banish are so incredibly worthless that they are not worth taking. They need to be revamped or have altered mana costs.



SUMMON

Level four spells should be encounter solving spells. Look at Fireball or Heal, they either kill all the enemies or give you so much life you WILL win. 



Summoning doesn't work for several reasons:

* the summoned monster you have will screw you over and be a gimmick monster that may somehow kill you.
