Amulet of Life Increase generated (bugged item?)

I had three amulets :
Amulet of Haste (incredibly useful!)
Amulet of Inversion
Amulet.

Having three, I decided that I could fool around with the third one since I had some Potions of Dissolution on hand. I dunked it into a potion of death, returned to my inventory and saw that I had

Amulet of Life Increase
Amulet of Inversion
Amulet of Undeath.

At first I thought that it'd be a +10 max HP amulet or something. Not so! It creates a 'increase life' effect every 20 turns for 1400 turns. I put it on, and as I'm wandering around I get "You get tougher!" / "Perhaps you're building up a resistance?" notes every so often. I'm still slightly peeved that I lost my Amulet of Haste, but an amulet that perpetually increases my max health seems to be a good trade-off, if broken.

...I'm not sure how you got that. Yeah, that's definitely not supposed to happen. Thanks for the report.

The only way I could get that to happen was by stalling the code mid-run and playing with some values. I'll neuter it such that if it should happen to get created, it at least won't do anything. If you get it to show up again, let me know.
